Discontinuing your course

Students wishing to discontinue their studies must provide written advice of this to the Faculty. Forms to advise of a course discontinuation are available from the Commerce Student Centre and may also be downloaded:

Withdrawal from Course (PDF, 44kb) form

Students who discontinue a component of their double degree, and are seeking credit for subjects completed within the double degree should also refer to the Credit Policy on the University's Academic Services Policy website.

Commonwealth Supported and Australian Full-Fee Students

Commonwealth Supported students and Australian Full-Fee (Fee-Help) students who discontinue a component of their double degree are advised that they will need to submit a new Commonwealth Assistance Form for the new course. This is available from the 'Admin'tab of your Student Portal; select'Apply for Commonwealth Assistance'(under the 'Fees' heading).

International Students

International Student Services (ISS) monitors student's enrolments and provides regular compliance reports to DIMA. If you discontinue or are suspended from your course then your enrolment status will be reported to DIMA. It is your responsibility to ensure you comply with the conditions of your visa. International students wishing to discontinue the non-Commerce component of a double degree must submit a Withdrawal from Course (PDF, 44kb) form to the Commerce Student Centre.
